Our Story

Our story starts in 2006, as our founder, Jamison Hampton, began his career as a young professional with a fortune 15 tech company. He worked with business leaders, owners and executives, helping them identify gaps in their business and solving 

for pain points that were affecting their bottom line.

As Jamison moved further into his career, he took an interest in cybersecurity and completed his undergrad and master's degree in Information Security & Digital Forensics. In the years following, Jamison was able to help businesses identify risks and threats to their organization.

Over the years, Jamison noticed a common thread among the businesses he served; the ''human element'' was always the biggest risk factor. Jamison observed a massive gap in the employee awareness programs, cybersecurity training or general confusion on where to start. These gaps left many of his clients extremely exposed and vulnerable.

As we moved into 2020 and COVID-19 turned the business world upside down, many companies rushed to move their workforce to a remote environment. This move enhanced  the existing security issues even further. It was the culmination of these events that pushed Jamison to take action. Cyber Winter LLC was founded to help small and medium businesses identify the gaps in their security posture and help them strengthen their defense against the growing tide of cyber-crime.
