Our Story

The Cyber Winter Story

Our story begins with our founder, Jamison Hampton, who started his career in 2006 at a Fortune 15 tech company. He quickly gained experience helping business leaders, owners, and executives identify and solve key issues impacting their bottom line.

As Jamison's career evolved, he took a deep interest in cybersecurity, earning both his undergraduate and master's degrees in Information Security and Digital Forensics. This expertise allowed him to help businesses identify and mitigate risks and threats to their organizations.

Over the years, a consistent pattern emerged: the human element was always a company's greatest security risk. Jamison repeatedly observed a significant gap in employee awareness and training, leaving many of his clients vulnerable and exposed.

The events of 2020 and the shift to remote work amplified these security issues, making businesses even more susceptible to cyber threats. It was the culmination of these challenges that drove Jamison to take action.

Cyber Winter LLC was founded to close these gaps. Our mission is to help small and medium-sized businesses identify weaknesses in their security posture and build a robust, comprehensive defense against the rising tide of cybercrime.
